I was wondering if there was a way to modify the criteria for determining who makes the Hall of Fame... It seems to me that 4 out of 5 people who make the Hall of Fame are more the sorts of players who merely have their numbers retired by teams - to me, a .299 batting average with 300 home runs and a single MVP award isn't a Hall of Famer, nor is a 200-150 pitcher with a career ERA of around 3.50 and 1 Best Pitcher award.

I guess I have not gotten far enough into a career yet to see this. The 4 or 5 HoF's in my game right now are pretty legit IMO.

Not to thread jack, I would like to see the MVP logic changed. TO me it seems whoever has the most RBI's wins te award. I am all for my guy winning it, but when he has a batting average of .241 and he wouldn't be in my top three for TEAM MVP then I think it needs to be adjusted. Also, Pitcher of the Year seems to heavily favor ERA, I wish Record, K's, and CG/SHO were taken into account more. I think Rookie awards are the same pretty much.

Also, the ability to change the name of these awards would be cool. I started in 1902, now in 1918 I already have a HoF pitcher in the game who it would be cool to see the Pitcher Award named after.
