We've set up an online wiki for that sort of thing. Please got to the 'What's New In Harpooon III ANW' section to answer your question.

I was actually one of the first. I have no complaint on the $50. The complaint is that they company just wasn't ready to release the product. I think spending $50, and several hundred more than that over the years gives one a right to say that this isn't all its cracked up to be.

I understand the need to make money and have no issue with that. As my purchase shows. It is just a little annoying that someone who hasn't purchased the game jumps in with some fairly rude comments.

Well you are not 100% correct we were ready with the relase. Once the game was out there we discovered something with our discount system that needed to be addressed. We didn't want to pull the game from the store since we announced it as being released and the game was already selling. There was also notihng wrong with the game so this made even less sense to do. I truly think the discount link will be fully working very early with week. I am sorry for any issues this had caused.

David

I have the box with original (?) 3.5 floppies. Wonder if programme will work in XP[:D]

Dimitris -> RE: Harpoon Upgrade offer (6/18/2006 11:39:15 PM)

Not a chance. The original H2 is strictly DOS and requires some direct access to the hardware, a major no-no for NT-based operating systems like WinXP.

I run H2AE on XP just fine with DOSBox.

It runs like an absolute pig, but it runs. [:D]

Thank you all.

Jan-Paul Köster of AGSI Tech Support is proving most helpful in taking the time and trouble regarding my .KEE.
Thanks J-PK.

pad152 -> RE: Harpoon Upgrade offer (6/21/2006 12:55:18 AM)

Just for history, I have a box full of Harpoon computer games, the original version from three-sixty, all of the battlesets, Harpoon for Windows, Harpoon Classic, Harpoon II, Harpoon II AE, and I don't every remember getting a discount from one version to the next.[8|]

Think you have it bad? Ask those who buy the EA sports titles from year to year [:D]
