waltwa -> custom filters (6/18/2006 3:41:02 AM)

i have found that if you go to the players section and use the custom filters you can really begin to search for players that you might want to trade for. however 1 thing confuses me. when you want to search for players by age the filter does not seem to work.

i have put down age to be less than 24 in the 1st filter but it shows players of all ages. the other filters such as potential seem to work- why doesn't age?

Beach23BoyP -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 6:51:36 AM)

I reported that bug last year. I guess it is still there.

henry296 -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 7:02:17 AM)

I've seen it too.

I can't seem to duplicate this. What screen are you doing it from and what exact filters can I enter in order to duplicate the bug?

henry296 -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 3:57:35 PM)

Shaun,

Here is what I just did.  Went to the Players section and only had the Age Less than 25 filter for all positions as Custom Filter1 and bat and throw set to either.

It also happens to me during the draft.

Man, I have no idea what the difference is, because I just did exactly as you said on the players screen and all I see is guys 24 and younger after applying the Age filter [&:]

SittingDuck -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 5:58:44 PM)

So how is it that the age filter doesn't work for me? This is the first version that I've ever seen that problem.

puresimmer -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 6:08:15 PM)

Well more folks than you have reported it so, I just need to keep digging.

Ah! Wait a minute, are you using a ratings scale other than 1-100? Hmm.. Going to go check that right now.

henry296 -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 6:10:35 PM)

I'm using 1-20 scale.

puresimmer -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 6:15:19 PM)

Yep. That was it. I love when I think of it as I am typing an "I can't find this bug" post.

Fixed for next patch. :)

SittingDuck -> RE: custom filters (6/18/2006 8:12:14 PM)

Yepper, it was Scale 1-8.

Yippee, you found it!
