I dl'd the demo last night, and I immediately ran into an issue where it assigned the wrong pitcher the loss. The situation was a tie game in the top of the 10th inning. Reliever #1 loaded the bases and was replaced by reliever #2. He was equally ineffective and gave up hits that allowed the baserunners allowed by reliever #1 to score. Six runs later, it was over, and the game pinned the loss on reliever #2.

Is this a known bug? This game looks to have had a lot of work put into it, but that type of issue within 15 minutes of playing the game was a bit surprising.

The demo is not updated with the latest patch.

OK, that's certainly reasonable. Can I be certain that this bug has been reported previously and is fixed?

Well, this is an obvious problem, as it happened again. The game is assigning the loss to relievers that enter a tie game and allow inherited baserunners to score.

Surely I cannot be the only one to have noticed this. I have played the demo 3 times in 3 days and have had this happen twice.

I've seen the same thing. A relief pitcher enters the game with runners on base and is charged with the loss if one of those runners becomes the winning run. I don't "watch" enough games to tell if this happens EVERY time, but I know I've seen it at least twice.

I just checked, game by game, my teams box scores for this season and through 137 games there were 8 losses incorrectly awarded, 2 for my team and 6 for my opponents.  In 5 of the games the pitcher who should have got the loss entered the game and did not retire a batter before getting the hook leaving runners on base.  In one the pitcher pitched 7 shutout innings and walked the first batter in the 8th before getting relieved.  In the other 2 the pitcher who should have lost pitched 1 1/3 innings before getting relieved with runners on base.  This is with Puresim 2007 v1.10.
