Base stealing (Full Version)

Currently simming 1952 replay--Brooklyn Dodgers and I manage all their games. Am now in July and noticed the following SB stats:
Name Speed SB CS
Robinson 89 32 3
Reese 85 14 6
Snider 81 13 3
Team 59 12

Mantle 87 16 0
Runnels 75 11 0
These figures appear to me to be extremely high for this era-- I think Reese actually led the team with about 35 steals. Any help appreciated.

I have no idea how to help but those ratings seem awfully high. Most teams in my 2005 replay would be thrilled to have those speed figures. For example, Chone Figgins, excellent base stealer in recent years has a 77 rating.
