These are really nice, and what's more important, are easy on the eye. Minimizing eyestrain isn't always considered for screen design, but it should be.

Sean - My only comment on the Roster & Lineup screen is the corners of the pitcher info windows.  I'd get rid of the "frayed" style on those two boxes as they don't match the rest of the boxes on the screen.

Ok, couple more comments.  I think I like the style of the Green Monster Alt 1 version the best, but I'd love to see what it would look like with some of the PSPN red. [:)]

I love the Roster and Lineups revision, but have a couple more nitpicks.  First, I miss the faded boxes as line seperators that were in the original version.  Is there something you could do there?  Second, and this is REAL nitpicking, but I'm not keep on the shadow effect you are using in the lineup boxes.  No  other boxes have this effect, so it looks out of place. Have you tried a bezeled approach, like the windows to the left already have?

Just throwing out some ideas..

Folks, I took one of Sean's files and tried a version of my own tonight.  It ain't easy... I'm going to stick to logos and ballparks!!!  I've been bugging Shaun for a couple years now to address these parts of the UI and for someone like Sean to come along and help out in such a huge way is amazing.

Looking good.  Also, in my association, I have another button to the right of "Clear Locked Roles" called "Autofill Roster".  It's going to run into the "Set as next starter" text ....

Cool, thanks, and you could actually make the lines a bit lighter to match the ones to the left, but it definitely makes it easier to read, IMO.  BTW, what's the significance of the 328???

which one on the left? I've duplicated all of them.... the 328 is the distance down the line at a park in the majors [;)] just something I through in when working with it.... I'll more than likely take it out

The scrolling boxes for the position players and Pitchers on the left.  i thought it would look good to match the shade of gray with those.  Also just noticed that the text for Position Players in the upper left box is hard to see against this new background...

Ok.. Gray highlights could still be a shade lighter, but it looks better.  It's a shame that you have to add the boxes around "Position Players" and "Pitchers", but I don't know what else you can really do.  I guess the Day version won't have this problem.  How about numbers next to the relievers too?

Here is the new pack with all fixes etc included in one zip file..... I have added a choice with either lines or no lines in the Roster/Lineups screen and a Light or Night choice for each.. and I have also added a new skin RedMonster shown below...

I will start branching out on some of the other menus while I continue to tweak these....

I am so thankful to have a new Modify Roster/Lineup screen. Sooo thankful. Thanks for also including various versions (with/without lines, night/day).

I also really dig the green motif in some of those images.

Thanks... I've started work on the grapical roster page and others... I will post the work as soon as I have something together, and will go back and tweak the other pages [:)]

The fonts show up better by using these backgrounds..... haven't changed them yet [:)]

Looks great and thanks! A few problems here...

See top right corner. Could you take out the white and blend everything in in front of the starter numbers and add "Set as next starter" for all 5 starters?

This stuff is very eye-pleasing and really better ergonomically.   For a guy who spends many of his waking hours looking at a PC screen, this aspect cannot be overstated.
