Deltadog -> Excessive number of Passed Balls (7/21/2006 9:45:38 PM)
|
Has anyone else noticed an excessive number of passed balls charged against catchers. I am playing a 1955 historical association in its first season. Currently it is July 10 and there have been a total of 399 passed balls in the association. Yogi Berra has been charged with 31 passed balls thus far. In real life he had 3 in 1955. I thought that this was a bit strange as you just don't see professional catchers miss any where near that many pitches. There is are XML entries that appears to adjust this, wild pitches, and hit by pitch. Has anyone made adjustments to these entires and if so what amounts have you found to be realistic. Thanks PS I have not seen any batters hit by pitches?
