BleacherBum -> Unattended Sims and no-hitters (7/24/2006 8:52:22 AM)

When you launch an extended simulation, the Auto Play Options screen appears allowing you to choose events that will halt the sim. Some of the events are "grayed" out based on the league settings. For example, if injuries are turned off, the first two choices are unavailable.

However, something is wrong with the logic on the enabled/disabled state of the option "prompt me if a player pitches a no-hitter". I'm simming a league without injuries, without finances, and without a human owned team. The pause on no-hitter option is grayed out, and remains checked on. So the sim stops on no-hitters, although I don't want it to, and there's nothing I can do to change that. The only option not grayed out is the "new PSPN issue" option. So inveitably, the Sim I let run for awhile doesn't finish because its sitting on a no-hitter pop-up screen.

I had the same thing happen except for me, I want to know about the no-hitters, what I didn't want notification of was injuries. The way I changed it was (I THINK) setting up a quick four team association in which I controlled a team, then changing the settings in that league.

So you were able to tweak the global option thru another league, and then carry it over to your primary league. Clever. I'll try that. Thanks.
