HackAxe -> Import Real Players not working after 1.24 patch (7/26/2006 5:28:24 AM)

After I installed the 1.24 patch the game would crash whenever I tried importing real players.
Here's what happens.
I start the REAL PLAYER import,
then an ERROR message pops up.
"Run-time error '94':
Invalid use of Null"
I click the OK button,
up pops a second error message
"Run-time error '97':
Cannot call friend function on object which is not an instance of defining class"
I click the OK button,
The game crashes...
is this a problem in the latest lahman database?
I use Windows XP Home Edition.
