PadresFan104 -> Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 12:08:51 AM)

- Standings still not aligned properly, as noted in 1.25

- My leadoff hitter and kick ass Shortstop sustained a minor foot injury on the first play of a key series with New York. Thanks a lot v1.26!!!!

- Had a distance 0' flyout to Right Center.

- Except for the 0' flyout, all other results are looking very good.

- Having finished managing a game, I selected the link to sim out the rest of the days games and got the error below. Crashed to desktop. When I reloaded the game, only the next game after mine was completed, so that's when the error occurred. I was able to quick sim the next few one at a time, and then I was able to use the "Sim Through.." option that caused the original crash, but it worked ok.

Ok, I know this isn't new, but it's darn cool!

Looks like I found an injury bug, and think this has been reported in earlier versions. You know how I was tweaked above that I lost my SS to injury? (Moderate Foot Injury) Well, the PSPN issue came out the next day and I noticed that my SS wasn't on Dr. Karl's list.

I took a look at my roster and he's not injured, simply a little tired.

Bug?

I'd still like that to show the players name next to the streak number so we know who holds the streak and maybe put it in the players card.

I reported a similar event earlier and the explanation I got (not from Shaun) was that it was probably a minor injury that caused him to leave the game, but one that would not cause him to show up as injured the next day. How accurate that explanation was is anyone's guess.

I've had this error "Assertion Failed: CAutoPlayer:" etc three times as well when simming.

Abev -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 2:05:19 AM)

I am getting "Assertion Failed: CAutoPlayer:" also. I am using the debug version so I sent an error email. Hopefully this wont mess with my assn ?

PadresFan104 -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 2:43:21 AM)

So far my assoc. seems unaffected by the CAutoPlayer bug.

KG Erwin -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 5:04:25 AM)

Display problem: last out of an inning, manager feature ON.  A fly-out that ends an inning is NOT displayed in the in-game animation.  The screen simply blanks out and then displays the next inning.  The play result DOES show, but the animation doesn't.   Never saw this in earlier versions.

DandricSturm -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 7:39:17 AM)

Hi, been on vacation and just got back today.

I was getting the "Assertion Failed: CAutoPlayer:" message.  The only thing I could think to do was compact the association database from the options menu.  After that I never saw the error again.

Sometimes wins, losses, & saves aren't assigned correctly (think this has happened througout all versions)

Hurray! Thanks for the two out hit and run option

SittingDuck -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 6:31:39 PM)

Crashed (report sent) during the middle of a sim day (3 of 10 games had been simmed).  I successfully simmed them upon restart.

So it appears to happen during the middle of simming a particular day's schedule.  I wonder what is going on - some roster issue or something? [&:]

henry296 -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 6:35:18 PM)

I just got an e-mail from Shaun and he fixed the bug that caused my crash.  He didn't tell me what caused it though.

puresimmer -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 7:35:27 PM)

The new code that denoted balls being hit off the wall (and resulting in a triple) was the cause for the curious out there. It would only occur if you did not have the save all game logs option on.

In my defense, these are beta patches, so stuff happens. That said, I apologize for any trouble this caused you guys.

Deltadog -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 8:19:44 PM)

I just managed a game. The lead off man for the cpu team suffered a severe injury. When one of my players receives a minor injury, the game makes me remove him from the game. At times once the game is over, he apparently recovers. However in this case, this player with a severe injury continued to play. He batted again in the 6th and was healthy enought to hit a double, run the bases and score.

Part 2 _ see log entry for 6th inning.

He went on to bat twice more in the 7th and 9th innings.

The game is over and now his on the DL with an injury that will take 70 days to heal. It is remarkable how he was able to finish the game in pain, when my guy had to retire with a minor toe injury which healed over night?

SittingDuck -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 8:22:38 PM)

I'll second that. I had Brooks go out for 9 weeks with some injury and the game showed him playing all game. Possible that it happened at the end, but there is hardcopy above of the issue anyhow.

henry296 -> RE: Feedback and Bug Reports for v1.26 (7/30/2006 8:24:41 PM)

Still no way to receive notifictions for very minor injuries.
