I bought this game when it first came out because I have all the other editions and have always been satisfied.
BUT this edition is driving me insane[:(]
Right from the get go I got the above error when I was tring to create a new association.
I was instructed to
Disable Anti Virus
Uninstall PureSim
Reboot
Reinstall PureSim
Reboot
That did not work[&:]
I then was instructed to download the "error report exe."
When I got the above error I was unable to save and report it as instructed[:(]
I have installed each patch since ver 1.0 till present.
I still cannot create an association, but I was able to play the associations created by some of the talented gamesters here.
After trying the latest patch 1.27?, I am still unable to create associations[:(]
I realize that it is something in my computer but it is maddening not being able to fix it.
Shaun if you have any way to help me get into the game I will be most grateful.
As I have previously stated I have followed the progress of the Pure Sim series from the very beginning, but I am now at a stonewall.
Please Help.

Please install the latest 1.28 patch and go ahead and email me the error report. There is obviously something corrupt on your machine, so hopefully we can find it.

I have v1.0 currently on my machine.
Can I install the 1.28 from there or do I need to get up to 1.27?

Nope - v1.28 is fine; it's inclusive of all changes.

I am unable to download 1.28.
Will the 1.29patch be OK?

Silver - yes, I'd say since the patches are all inclusive that this should be fine.

I downloaded and installed the v1.29 patch.
I tried to create an association and got the RTE 429 error.
There was nothing else but the box with the error message in it so I do not know how to find anything else than that to E-Mail to Shaun.

Be sure the patch 1.29 is installing to the same folder as puresim.

The game screen reads V1.29 beta.

Maybe not. As I recall v 1.28 was supposed to be a diagnostic beta release. If v 1.29 is not, it may not send the message that Shaun wants?
