It never showed up. He Pm me about where the turn was. Well I use Outlook to check my mail so that my turns are waiting on me when I get home. Somewhere along the line my e-mail server SBCglobal decided that he was a spammer and all his e-mails were ending in the spam folder that outlook does not check. I happened to look at the server looking to see what the problem is. Worth checking on if you have a deley on turns.

I get a similar problem with one of my opponents. Every so often my emails get bounced back and labeled as spam (the nerve [:@]), with a nicely worded email telling me to have my isp contact them if it is a valid email....yeah, like that's gonna happen. [8|]

What I discovered is that if the email gets forwarded or replied to too many times then it triggers some sort of automated spam filter. So, every few turns I start a new email rather than just hitting reply to the last one.

I was wondering why my somewhat well respected email addy was getting hosed by Parker's spam filter - will try the new thread idea....

Now if only the WITP Gods could throw me a few hundred spare p-40 airframes.....

There are a bunch of ISPs and mail servers this happens with. It happens to me all the time with Hotmail and Comcast. I use Outlook Express because Outlook doesn't like packaged attachments. Neither does Hotmail.

AndyMac's turns end up in my Spam folder half the time. I wish it were that efficient with regular spam.

I had this problem with Oleg long ago - in UV. It is a problem between some ISPs. Use a different path. A universal cure is to use hotmail.

One of the problems with hotmail is that from time to time it sees the file as having a virus.  You have to close hotmail and relog on to correct this and sometimes it takes multiple attempts to get it to pass the virus scan.

I use the Hotmail server but I use Outlook Express to access my Hotmail account. I've found the Hotmail software to be less reliable than OE in handling WitP files.
