Rommel3 -> No torpedo attack on Merchant ship, Please. (8/5/2006 12:42:05 PM)

I dont think warship launch torpedo on Merchant ship. Naval guns are enough to finish them off . Warship will keep torpedos for duel with enemy warships. And Only 9 - 10 size port can rearm it without AD.

I hope next patch fix this.

Works like it should. Nothing to change.

They actually did sometimes.

Of course. One dink with a torpedo could do the job of 200 dinks with guns. Nothing to change...

I didn't know that. It is understandable in case a small number of destroyers engage merchants. But don't you think it is odd that a full strength heavy Cruiser Group torpedo attack on the small merchants?

Yes, that is odd. I suppose that we are considering one of the distinctions that the game code does not make that is made in real life.

What would really help is if you post the combat report (only the part about this combat) and then be very specific about the problem you are pointing out. The developers are pretty good about considering such things.
