general billy -> General Billy(Japs) Vs Bwheatley(Allied) (8/22/2006 5:24:51 PM)

Greetings,

Its been more than 180 days since Ive last played WPO but now Im ready to play another game against my worthy adverseri Bwheatley. Alright, I dont plan to do a full AAR like I done in the past, but basically it should cover my aims and strategys for the game and compliment Bwheatley AAR. This will be my first time playing the Japs in WPO.
The usual house rules will be on. Japan is at war with the US. And the rest of the nations should be neutral. With the fall of Pearl Harbour they may choose to declare war.

The last game AAR was at

general billy -> Ideas and Plans (8/22/2006 5:38:14 PM)

The primary objectives of the Japanese in this campaign is too secure Phillipine Islands. Manila is key to this. As well as any level 3 ports on or around the island. Its aim is to take Manila as soon as possibe, with every availible fighting unit. Every division availible will try and take part in the libaration of Manila. Once that is done a few divisons will be used to mop up the remaining US forces still on the island.

Intelligence suggest that they a large number of US subs, and some small surface taskforces around PI aswell as a strong garrison holding Manila.

Japan will also secure Wake Island and await US response to the invasion of the PI.

South PI, Davao will also need to be secured.

Current rules of engagement of Japanese Fleet:-
Avoid Enemy naval surface threats.

general billy -> Japan summons UK/Chinese Diplomats (8/24/2006 5:30:06 PM)

Message to Chinese/UK from The Empire Of Japan

Japanese Intellegence suggest that you have allowed US raiding taskforces to rearm and refuel at your Bases. You must stop this at once. I hope you take this matter with grave concern since our countries relations depend on it!

Response from China:
China will not allow itself to be bullied by anyone. Our chinese naval forces and army could quickly force the nation of Japan to its knees. We have been kind enough to stay out of this small fight. We have not allowed any US vessels to rearm in any ports under our control. We remind you that you now have 3 days to remove your forces from shanghai. If the deadline passes we will capture your forces for the duration of your conflict with the Americans. Do not push us and we shall not push you.

Japanese response to china:-
We will remove our troops as soon as possible.

Response from UK:
Hong Kong remains a neutral port under control of the British Crown. We have no knowledge of rearming operations taking place. Any US vessels that put into port are purely non-combatents. We respectfully request that the japanese government resolve this dispute with as little bloodshed as possible.
