I would not want to preorder because I prefer a digital download. Helps avoid the tax man in Canada.
As for a mac version, you can just buy a new intel mac. You will be able to run windows after you buy the windows OS and download a free application from Apple. You will then have two computers in one. I have seen it and it works. We tested an installation of Doom 3 and Battle for Middle Earth 2. Both ran and played just fine. I was going to buy a new Dell to play my PC games, but I think I will get the new Mac. It is a better system. Just go to the Apple site to find out more.
