desert -> Help! (9/27/2006 10:50:42 PM)

Ive made a senario using scenario editor and it is pretty much complete.The only thing it is missing is scenario descriptions.it works fine,except after Force 2 has their turn 1.After that,the Force 1 victory screen suddenly pos up.Why is this happening?

You might want to check the colander option to see how many turns the game has.

Check events to make sure you do not have an end game inadvertently set.

Make sure at least one unit from each force is on the map if at any time no units from either force are on the map it will end the game.

desert -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 12:08:22 AM)

well,both units have plenty of deployed men.The calander is set to end turn 28.I never made any events.

desert -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 12:08:50 AM)

sorry,both forces have plenty of deployed units

Chuck2 -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 12:18:47 AM)

Do you have objective points?

desert -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 12:29:55 AM)

yes,yes,i stated that.My porperties says that I have scenario description missing and edit settings of forces in Force Editor.But i assigned all the formations and units for both sides.I put the names and the supply and proficiencies.

Zip and attach an SCE file for your creation, and someone can look at it for the cause of your problem.

desert -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 1:37:50 AM)

I have no idea how to do that.I am bad with the technical parts of computers.

Hi!

What does it say when you "View" - "Properties" when you open the scenario with the editor?

Look for any items listed as "critical."

Also, when you go to play the scenario, in the scenario description, does it give you a big warning saying something like "This scenario is incomplete"?

Including at least one ground unit from each side?

Navigate to the folder that contains your scenario file. Right-click on the scenario file, and choose "Send to..." then "Compressed (zipped) Folder". Then post a reply in this thread. Click on the link below the reply box, where it says "Click here to upload!" and browse to the location of your compressed scenario file. If your scenario was named "My Battle.sce" then the zipped file would be named "My Battle.zip". Select that file for uploading. Then OK the reply to this thread.

desert -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 11:27:55 PM)

Uhh,well,the problem is different now.Now,the Force 2 troops dont even show up on the map.I even went to the editor,removed the units,placed them again where they had been,then saved and clicked "go to game".I chose my scenario,but the units were still missing.

desert -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 11:29:19 PM)

AND ONCE AGAIN,READ MY STATEMENTS.I HAVE SAID TWO TIMES THAT MY SCENARIO IS VALID,THERE ARE NO CRITICAL THINGS TO DO IN PROPERTIES.

Chuck2 -> RE: Help! (9/28/2006 11:33:11 PM)

Please send the scenario to someone using email or attach it in a zip file. This is the fastest way to resolve the problem.

desert -> RE: Help! (9/29/2006 12:01:33 AM)

ok,i did put it in a zip file.How do i send it through the replies?

Telumar -> RE: Help! (9/29/2006 12:47:46 AM)

First, change the file extension from .zip to .txt. (why? - see the pic )

Then, click "Click here to upload!"

Select the file from your computer, click okay.. et voila!

Chuck2 -> RE: Help! (9/29/2006 2:15:29 AM)

Please post it in the support sub-forum.  It allows zip files to be attached.  The sub-forum is located here:

Oh, also didn't know about that. Nice.

buff111 -> RE: Help! (10/17/2006 5:03:58 PM)

I finishing up a scenario. I'm doing objectives for force 2. At the end of force 2 objectives (all units in force 2 have objectives), force 1 units show up for objectives. Obviously, this is a critical item. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

buff111 -> RE: Help! (10/17/2006 7:46:59 PM)

Chuck appreciate the response, but both forces have objectives. At the end of posting objectives for force 2 force 1 units show up for objectives. These force 1 units already have objectives. Why are force 1 units showing up in force 2?

buff111 -> RE: Help! (10/17/2006 9:26:20 PM)

Thnaks Chuck, but figured out what the problem was. This scenario was uploaded and pending approval as "Europe 1950."
