I recently purchased a new computer and wanted to get PureSim up and running on it. I downloaded the 1.1 version of the game and installed it just fine. However, whenever I try to start up the .exe file, I get the following error message: "Run-time Error '53' File Not Found: randomad.dll" I don't know why that file wouldn't be there and was hoping for a little bit of help on this problem. Thanks!

I find that I have the file in my puresim 2007 folder. Since all that files in that folder were placed there when I installed the program, I would guess that for some reason, when you installed it on your new compter something went wrong and that file was in placed in the folder.

I suggest you search for the file and if you don't have it you probably should reinstall. Reading other threads, various files were not placed in the puresim folder when the game was installed and Shaun suggested that they reinstall.

I suggest you try uninstalling and reinstalling to the default folder

"c:\Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2007"

Then you can run the game from within that folder.

Ok, I've tried to get this to work, but it's still not happening. I am trying to install using the v 1.10 file, but is there a different file I should be using? I can't find it if there is. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place, but I'm still getting the error saying that the computer can't find the "randomad.dll" file. Also, the program never truly installs, because I can't uninstall it and it doesn't show up as a program file in my computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
