Terrible news... the small plane that crashed into a 50-story NYC apartment building today killed at least two people, including Yankee pitcher Cory Lidle. It is unknown whether Lidle was behind the controls.
According to the MSN report, Lidle had recently become interested in becoming a pilot. This was a tragic accident, which caused much understandable alarm amongst NYC residents, many of whom feared the worst.
I extend my condolences to the family members and to Yankee fans everywhere. [:(]
