I'm thinking of buying War in the Pacific. It seems to be the game I've been looking for for a long long time. I've been looking for something similar to P.T.O. but with more realism. It seems these days realism isn't near as profitable as pretty graphics...
I have one question though, is it possible to play after 1946? I mean if I wanted to fight to the death...is that possible? Even if it takes until 1948? Is there an option to let the game continue past the 'normal' stopping point?
I remember several P.T.O. games lasting until 1949 or even later...because I screwed up at one point or another.
I tried searching for an answer to this but couldn't find one...if I missed the answer somewhere I apologize up front. :)
