I am playing russian campaign. I have a question - is it possible to do some recon during deployment or (better) purchase phase ? I think no commander will attack without good recon. I dont want to see exactly where enemies are hidding. But I think the information about unit types and their strenght would be usefull (i.e. Expected 5-10 tanks, no flaks, strong arty...). Thanks. ------------------

This is not possible. In computer terms, I'm not sure that the AIP has selected its forces yet. In gaming terms, you know something from the mission statement (large enemy force, etc.). Beyond that, you have to use your on board recon assets to reconiter the enemy. ------------------ An old soldier but not yet a faded one. OK, maybe just a bit faded.
