In my dec 43 PBEM the game crashes whenever I try to access the base or any unit on Kusaie Island. The error feature code is C1C3FBFF and the involved file is ~\owner\LOCALS~\Temp\9a1a_appcompat.txt.
I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THIS GAME. Can anyone give me an explanation and a cure, or even a workaround?

By the way, we just went to 1.802 a few turns ago. I am allies and Kusaie Island was captured turn before last.
