Guys got a question on using the screen print thing.Does uosu have to be open when you go in to spwaw or can it work just beause you have it on your machine. Hope you all know what I mean. A lot of times I want to take a picture when im in the game but didnt open it before I went in.

Ciao Robot!

yes, UOSU has to be open in order to get screenshots (remeber to use the print/stamp key to have full screen pictures).

Usually I always forget to start UOSU before playing but then I simply hit the Alt+Tab keys to get back to the desktop, start UOSU and come back to SP.

Hope this helps!

I just leave it minimized on the taskbar

That works..

Yeah guys, minimizing UOSO and letting the program running in background is fine indeed.
But you have to start it first.

That's what, I guess, Robot was asking for.

What i was getting at is spwaw being such a memory hog and all, programs should be shut down in the background. Thought maybe it might cause crashing problems is all. And also i find that every time i find i want to really print something i had forgot to start it.

UOSU works well with SPWAW because it uses minimal amount of memory. [:)]

NoX -> RE: UOSU (11/10/2006 7:30:31 PM)

Game requirements as stated on the official Matrix site for SPWAW:

Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP
DirectX 8.1
Pentium II 400 MHz CPU
64MB Ram
16 Bit Direct Sound comp. Soundcard
8MB Video Graphics Card 16Bit
8x CD-Rom
900 MB Free Hard Disc Space

Does not look that it needs alot of memory. Also it ran fine on my old 350 Mhz computer whit only 32 MB of RAM! So I do not think that that is the reason for the limited number of screen capture utilities that work whit spwaw, rather it is the age of the program that causes it. Most of the screen capture utilities do not support or detect an old game like spwaw anymore. Btw. I use HyperSnap DX4 it works whit spwaw also.

Screen capture utilities also depend on the Sound Card. The old integrated GeForce POS on my comp wouldn't allow UOSO to take a screen from any full screen application. The Current card, a much higher end model that Call of Duty 2 defaults maxed out on, it works fine.
