I was a harsh critic of the long running tease known as Combat Leader - Cross of Iron, and just in the last few weeks or so finally overcame the symptoms of my previous withdrawals once that was finally cancelled.
But emotional as I was about it, I never lost hope that one day we'll get this back on track. I honestly didn't think it would come from this direction, but considering the fantastic work the folks at Matrix did in the mod community for CC, it seems like a perfect marriage.
A fun game engine and the great graphic minds and story tellers combined should be just what the doctor ordered.
So, congrats on what seems to be a great decision and I look forward once again (and more optimistically this time) to a rebirth of sorts of Close Combat.
Should be a great experience for producer and purchaser alike.
