Thanks for the well-balanced review. I disagree on the severity of your comment on the lack of TCP/IP play, but that's because I know how excruciatingly boring it would be to watch me play a turn, in real time...[:D]

TCP/IP play might be useful for extremely small scenarios, where it might only take 15 minutes to finish a turn, or perhaps in a tutorial/learning situation where one player is trying to teach another the finer points of how to play. However, to make that work well, a chat client would need to be integrated, and a whole bunch of recoding done to the engine. Not a relatively fruitful expenditure of programming resources at this point in time, I'm afraid. However, it might be something to consider in a "from the ground up" redesign of the game.

Agree about the real time playing, does not fit this model of ugo igo too well.. I really like the larger scens and playing pbem works

Well done. I hope you'll give your review a "review" in a few months, as features are added via updates. The plans, at least, are exciting.
