Dustoff -> Multyplayer Lan + other problems (12/3/2006 7:02:24 AM)

When playing remote game.

The events lis that pops up at the beginning of a new turn and any other boxes that pop up with info only pop up on the server side. The client will not see any of this and is blind to what is going on with any events, losses, raids, sieges (if it doesnt crash), sickness, political sucsess or failer, ect... .[:@]

The client will see every thing else. Just no info boxes. Click end turn and if server is done with his turn then movement ,combat, ect... is done, then new turn.[&:]

Tried hosting on diff comp. Reversed server client. Still only info on server side.

Other problem is at times one comp will get a error pop up box thats titled Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error box. Once that happens every new turn it will pop up. I cant remeber what is says. but I can prob recreate the error and give info on it if you need it.

The client may have to open up the events list by pressing the "events" button.

That worked[;)]  its just a bummer that wile one of use has these nice little pop up boxes to read the other player is just sitting there.

Thanks for the quick responce. Love the game so far, and the PR. I put out the word to all me civil war friends about this game. Hope that helps.

Thank you!  The client should be getting some of the popup boxes; I'll take a look to see if anything is amiss.
