ORIGINAL: Nemo121 quote:
Once Sydney falls, the fall of Melbourne is almost inevitable, regardless of players competence. Not at all. What you say is only correct if the Allied player has failed to garrison Melbourne. If he has failed to garrison such a crucial base then he deserves absolutely everything he gets. IF he has garrisoned it with a division behind level 9 forts then Melbourne is almost inviolable. Why would someone have a division behind level 9 forts in Melbourne AND leave Sydney unprotected? The Allied player "deserves what he gets" for failing to garrison Sydney in the first place, although I wouldn't judge his competence before seeing the big picture. To say that he is ADDITIONALY "incompetent" if he ALSO loses Melbourne is an overkill IMHO. Back to original question... After checking the schedule it seems that Australian reinforcements are arriving all over the place (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin...). My take is that Sydney arrivals will shift to Melbourne and, after Melbourne is taken, they will be "frozen" (not lost). The other Australian reinforcements will probably continue to arrive normally. Moreover, it wouldn't surprise me if Sidney-Melbourne arrivals were also shifted to one of unoccupied bases. Raverdave will be the one to know…
