Concord Dan -> How many are playing TCP/IP? (12/9/2006 3:57:16 AM)

My Brother and I are and having a good time (Mostly) - getting a some CTDs when starting detailed battles (July Camp) Anyone else having any problems with TCPIP?

Also, How does the system determine who gets to select detailed or quick? Seems random. We have been using always ask detailed option.

Thanks

Played my first LAN game last night. We went with Quick battles always. Worked fine. One bug we did notice was the Non Host machine never gets an event report as a pop up at the beginning of the turn nor in the events section during his turn. At the same time you get an error and you MUST "ignore" the error (sorry I forget the exact error message). The error seems to be revolving around the event pop up. Hit Ignore and you can continue the turn. Hit retry and your going to CTD or lock up.
Hard though on the non host machine/player as you cannot see things like upgrade, replacements, tech disease etc.

You can open the events report as the client, you just have to hit the "Events" button, the information should still be there.

the non host was not able to get his events in the events tab is this what you mean?

I haven't tried it yet.. what exactly is it like? Are you able to fight detailed battles and such?

Detailed battles would really take some time. No did not use Detailed battles for our game. It is quite fun though!!
