ancient doctor -> Congrats/requests/questions. (12/12/2006 10:26:29 AM)

1st of all congratulations for what appears to be a very interesting game of a period so far ignored by designers.

I have a request for anyone who might help.Please post a screen with all weapons values since i am very interested to see how many types there are and difference between them in terms of damage and range,especially those available by research.

Now a couple of questions.
1-Is it possible to edit the weapons values(all of them like cost/range/damage?
2-Do the cities in the game have an intrinsic value of resource production and buildings only add to it or if you lets say remove all production buildings from a city then it will produce nothing?
3-Any chance for a senario editor to came with a future update?

Keep up the good job and KEEP POSTING AARs untill i buy it.[;)]

1. Yes; see Data file Guns.txt
2. Cities have editable intrinsic economic values independant of buildings; see Data file AcwProvinces.txt
3. Best to let a WCS guy answer this one... :o)

Hi Ancient seaman,

Re: item #3: It's certainly something we've talked about, but no firm plans as of yet. We've also talked about ways to have more historic battlefields in detailed combat... but nothing definite.

It would be far too cumbersome to post the list of guns with their values in this thread because of formatting reasons, but if you go to this thread you'll find a modified version of the guns file: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1315675.

As for the AAR's, we have to take a brief hiatus while jchastain is on vacation. They'll restart soon.

That's good to hear.

I'm not in the loop regarding when Matrix will make available the CD version, but it can't be too far away at this point.

Sweet! I'm being as patient as I can,( only because I know that being impatient isn't gonna get me squat).[:D]
