here's another little bug that I hope you will be able to catch for the legendary v3.0: Mortars and the 'x' key: Mortars, or presumably any other onboard arty, that have already fired a barrage as controlled by the 'B' key will act strangely when told to fire smoke into a hex that they can see. If you hit the 'X' key then the visible hexes will become unshaded, and you can indirect fire smoke into them, however, only the first smoke cannister will fire into, or aimed at, that hex. The others appear to be aimed at the last designated indirect fire target hex. You will see one shot pop smoke where you have just set with the 'X' key, the others will most likely appear to just zip off one side of the screen. I do not know if this also works for HE rounds, and I don't have SPWAW on this machine to run any tests. IIRC this also used to happen in some of the other versions of SP.

whoops.. i had a couple of tries with this one, and couldn't get it to work - it has definitely happened to me though, but I can't recall the steps that created it.

This is an old and insidious bug (that used to affect the "Z" key too) I'm not sure it will get fixed this time around...I will look next chance I get..
