great game guys! problem i have mostly with detailed battles. they run very sluggish even with nosound and low animation fix. updated drivers for graphic card(geforce 6800), and defraged. i have hp windows xp home, p4 3.2ghz, 2gigs of ram. not much of a tech guy just wondering if any suggestions.

You can try turning off shadows and turning on the no-slide options in detailed battle (from the Advanced Menu), or else use "chit mode" (also from the Advanced Menu).  The shadows really take a lot of processor power to draw, and the no-slide option speeds things up considerably.

Your system specs are better than my best test machine, and it runs with good performance in most circumstances on that machine -- it does slow down somewhat in big battles with lots of trees when there are weather effects and smoke being drawn, but normally on that machine it has no problem keeping up with the 10 frames per second that it tries to draw.
