Version is 1.804, stock scenario 15, except I changed one or two things in the database (like fixing Japanese radar).

My transport sub TFs are refusing to load supply. This worked earlier in this game. Now they will list 'loading supplies', but on the next turn they are always empty. I've experimented variously with order of destination and loading, ports with different amounts of supplies, the 'do not unload' flag, with no success.

The subs will still load troops.

Another member (rtpasso) suggested some kind of 'sticky slot' bug, possibly affecting the TF(?). Please let me know if there are any workarounds. I have saves if necessary (can send this evening). It is a moderate irritant now. If the problem begins to occur for transport TFs I will pretty much be broken.

Hoping for word from a dev - don't mind collaborating by creating different test scenarios if one can give an idea of what to look for. Now I have a patrol squadron that won't fly a unit (squads only) out of its base (reverts to supply instead). So there seems to be more than a little weird stuff going on in many of these transport routines.

I have this all the time. Have you tried disbanding the TF and re-creating it? that seems to do the trick for me, I think.

No - this has been an ongoing problem for some players - it doesn't work.

No - this has been an ongoing problem for some players - it doesn't work.


What he said. Tried and didn't work. Unless it is something associated with a TF number (slot) and some are unlucky and get another or the same buggy slot?

Not a factor in subs transporting cargo, BUT-

As mentioned in the other thread on this - that WILL be a problem in subs transporting troops later in the game: e.g. - sub won't load troops until you form one with a different TF number. Eventually this becomes very difficult as more and more slots get "sticky".
