I think you will see online leagues start to pop up more and more as we go along. David is killing bugs fairly quickly now, and some of the things that have stopped people from starting leagues are being dealt with.
The MaxFB community, to me, is really starting to resemble FBPro. I think the armchair coaches are crawling back out of the woodwork and getting this thing going.
I would recommend the game, but of course im biased, because I really love it. But, if you are unsure, then I would keep checking in and follow the games progress. When you see the community and the game in a state that warrants your purchase, go for it.
This forum is the main place to hang out.
