Just wanted to say as a member of the ACWGC, and as a new owner of FoF that the guys over there are a VERY tough crowd, eeeerrrr some might say nit picky....I have not yet had time to evaluate your game yet to see what I really think of it, but I bought it in order to support you since the game is about a topic dear to my heart. But whether in the end I think it hits or misses the mark, I appreciate the fact that you showed up on the forums over there. I think it was a good move, and that your post was a sound one. I wish ya'll well and just wanted to say good luck.....we'll see how things come out.....I am still in the early learning stages.....Hank Smith

Hank,
Thank you (for both your comment and your interest in FOF). I try to limit my comments about the game to this forum, but every once in a while there is a need to counter inaccurate statements. It's just as true in the computer game business as in politics that a charge that is not responded to can end up being widely viewed as true, and that particular thread had just a few too many such statements to ignore.

I hope you enjoy FOF and, as I wrote at ACWGC, if you have any suggestions or criticisms, by all means share them.

I do have a suggestion, Kenon Whitehead has been a participant in a Campaign game a couple of us have hosted on the AWCGC site off and on the last few years.....He is, in my opinion the best player of them all....when he argues a point, he is usually pretty durn persuasive....I am not sure if he has ever lost a scenario on any of Tiller's games....lol....this based on solid historical knowledge.....you might want to invite him to playtest any changes.....He is very strong....we listen when he speaks....lol   Good luck, Hank

Thanks for the tip. From what I can tell, he hasn't bought the game yet, and is still trying to determine whether it would appeal to him. If he does decide that he might enjoy FOF then I'm sure his expertise would be welcome, either informally as one of those visiting this forum, or formally if we add more play-testers for future patches.
