Well I can give this as an update.I have so medical issues I have to deal with before I move up North with Dawn my partner in crime. Were I am going theres not docters.So I need a clean bill to go up there.Dawn has bought a new laptop that will handle the game at the latest version.The players are in the db for the 2007 VCFL season coming up.
As far as the season is going to start well not sure.I was suppose to be up north in March April then May so it still up in the air.

Yes I did that to show what roster your team is coming from.As soon as the updated file goes in it will convert over to the new name Yellowknife Sabercats.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Saskatchewan Roughriders
Ottawa Renegades
Montreal Concordes

Those are the 4 rosters available.You can change the teams names and cities.There must be enought interest ourt there to fill those 4 teams.

1) How can I tell which player is an import and non-import on my roster?
2) What is the salary cap or is there a salary cap?
3) How many rounds for the dispersal draft?
4) Do you want us to list every player in order or will we live draft??
5) Besides quarterbacks, do we have minimum players per position for any other positions??

1. obviously, the individaul player stats will tell you this
2. Yes there is a salary cap - not sure on the figures for this season, commish see's to that
3. Again, commish see's to this part, but you will know in plenty of time
4. Commish's area again
5. As far as I'm aware, there are no minimums for any position, managing your roster is your responsibility
as is making sure you have the players you need for any given position, depending on your personal team profile.

Commish will fill in the Grey area's I've left

check out the Playing Rules as the stand right now
and the Salary Rules as they stand now
(Commish may alter these yet for the coming season)

Hey Mykal,

The rosters show names, numbers and ratings....I assume that the asterisk in the players name designates an import player.
There are 28 pages of players listed in the salary section which includes colleges. You'll have to print, find and match each and every one with your own roster. Has to be an easier way......

It would be good to know the salary cap before I start preparing my draft list don't you think??

(didnt know we had got that far yet, LOL)

Yes I agree, the present lay out is a little confusing,
but Commish only got it done today, these things take time to iron out

Guys,

Ok. I figured out the salary page and applied it to all players on my team. Import count is different from what I've calculated, so I'm going to assume the asterisk is not for import players. Correct??

I also assume that Y is contract length and YI is contract remaining??

Then I'm not sure since John Turntine shows 1 year with 4 years remaining. Need some help here as well.

For some one who has not played this game much, or played in this league, some more details regarding the reports would be helpful.

Salaries don't add up...

Report shows $2,446,050.00

I've put everything into Microsoft Excel and my total is $2,171,000.00

Interesting!! Some bugs to fix??

I was looking at the heading up top.....should be totals at the bottom.

Salary is correct, imports are correct, which means the asterisks are for an import player. This makes things a whole lot easier...

The college draft was done in January

If after the dispersal draft your roster isnt filled
there is a free agents pool (that much I know for definate having just worked on it LOL)

Six rounds or as long as theres drafting.

For each round you send a list in if your drafting third then you list 3 players.

No just Quarterbacks you must dress three for a game.The active roster is 37 players 42 total 20 out of the 42 can be imports.

Player creation is done through a VB6 programme the contract length and year in were reversed i had to do it manually i missed some obviously so were you notice that point it out and it will be reversed
