You can install the original CC3 and CoI on the same system. They will not interfere with each other.
However, there is one issue you need to be aware of if you do this, and that is CCModSwap will only work with one of the installations, and that is CoI by default.
You can have the CC3 Config Manager and CCModSwap on the same system, but for goodness sake do not ever install or uninstall mods using both on the same installation. Technical support will be very clear about this: "Uninstall everything, and start again!". Keep them VERY seperate!
