Charlie19341 -> Start-Up Screen (2/18/2007 6:50:20 PM)

I just purchased the game on-line yesterday and very excited by what I have seen so far. I am a co-Commissioner of an on-line football league, and looking for a replacement PC football game, and Maximum Football looks really promising![&o]

Although I have received my Matrix Games Member Account, and registered my game, I am having trouble with the Start-Up screen! [sm=00000018.gif] Most of the buttons on the Start-Up screen do not work! I get no response for Register; Forums; Support; Services; Store; or Merchandise. I also do not get a response to Matrix Games; Wintervalley Software, nor MF Website! The buttons for Matrix Games Catalog; Game Manual {thank heaven}; Utility Set {no clue what to do here, yet}; and Exit {oh, joy!}.

Might anyone know why I am having difficulty, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure why that would would be working.. I was going to suggest you update your version of FLASH (which is what that menu uses), but if some buttons are working, I'm not sure why others wouldn't.

That particular menu is greated by Matrix (I don't own any of the source for it), so my best suggestion in this case is to contact Matrix and ask for support.. there is a General Support forum here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tt.asp?forumid=18

Thanks
David

Maybe it's your firewall.  It sounds like the buttons for external links are not working but the links to thing on the computer are.

Try to temporally disable your firewall and see if that helps.

What firewall or Internet security are you using?

Ohh.. yeah.. that's a good point... the external links launch web browsers.. your firewall may not allow for that.

Thanks Shaggyra...

David
