Oddzy -> How many more versions are there (2/25/2007 4:12:04 AM)

I buy this game on the pretense I'm getting the Dec 06 2006 1.51.demo....
The download I buy turns out to be version 1.0 version
I buy the retail version option its not the latest version but yet another version of 1.0
I see there is a version update to 1.2......I download and install this and the game begins crashing like crazy.
I download the latest and greatest version 1.51 demo again thinking I missed a way to input my serial numbers but nope only the option to buy ....version 1.0.
Now I see a Dec 20 2006 1.51version in yet another area.

How about getting your $%#@ in one sock and straightening out this mess you call PURE.

You seem to be rather rude.. no reason to be.

I simply took the link Shaun provided and shortened it to www.puresim.com and was able to goto his website and find the link on there.

Here's the link for you http://www.puresim.com/PureSim2007-SetupRelease-v151DR.exe

Really, Oddzy, that kind of attitude just starting out isn't gonna help you in getting game support.

This community is super friendly and willing to help. Lighten up just a bit.

Sorry, my mistake. I left out the "www.puresim.com" part. Hopefully I am not making too much of a bad first impression. I promise it will be worth it if you are a Baseball fan.

Oddzy..

I too experienced problems with this program...INITIALLY. I stress this because after I began writing to the bards, I received all the help I could possibly need.

I also wrote somewhat strongly, although it wasn't my intention to ruffle any feathers. I found that it's easy to insult people with mere e-mails, as it's hard to read intnation,or hear tone of voice when reading e-mails. After I was able to convey that I wasn't being threatening, or sarcastic,I got everything I asked for.

I recently purchased another lap-top with Vista, and while I can't get the program to run just yet, as far as downloading the latest version, here is what I did.

I went to the store linkfrom the PureSim.com site, clicked order, then clicked order status. I was then brought to the page where I was asked for my order number, password, etc., then I was immediately brought to the http dowload for the latest release.

Just go to Puresim.com. It all begins there.

Thank You for the prompt response[&o], the link provided works fine and the game is running smooth.[:)]
As for the fanbois, at times I subscribe to the Ty Cobb school of manners, spikes up and sharpened, its all part of the game.

Free Joe from the Bonds of slavery Cominsky placed upon him.

Do you mean Comiskey? I am assuming you mean Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Bustoff -> RE: How many more versions are there (3/8/2007 10:08:41 PM)

Oddzy, The Georgia Peach had his own aggressive style to be sure, and if that works for you, that's great. Keep in mind though that Shoeless Joe didn't invite him to play on the Field of Dreams. [;)]

Welcome to the board!

Yeah, but spelling it correctly would incorrectly pay homage to 'em! Go Joe Go!

Kevin Costners field (I hear its a soccer complex now), he played that thief Robin Hood too, attacking those poor Normans, shame shame, but he still ended up on the loosing side.

Free the Normans from the bonds of tinseltown typecasting!

kmer293 -> RE: How many more versions are there (3/11/2007 1:39:35 PM)

Oddzy...

The Peach had his own style, no doubt.

I am glad that everything is working for you. As I stated, I wrote in what turned out to be an unfriendly manner, but that was unintentional. I received less than friendly replies, but again, intonation, and inflection are hard to ascertain when reading e-mails, so I understood why my e-mails sounded unfriendly, but when I explained my real point of view, I got the help I needed, and I'm glad for that. There really is all the support that you could ever need right here.

Again...glad you're enjoying the program. I have made a lot of roster adjustments, a few trades, and manage every game for my favorite Yankee team, the 78 Bombers, and this program allows me to track this team as it ages, and it's been great to manage Thurman for a few more seasons. I am very happy with both Diamond Mind, and PureSim, as each is slightly different, and allows me to approach each game differently.

Respectfully,

Kyle
