Yeah Kip I saw Dale's point, but isn't the missile launched by the SSBN the "weapon"? I suggested the Campbeltown because the Royal Navy basically converted the DD into a weapon when she rammed the dry dock during the St. Nazaire commando raid. The DD was also packed with explosive the aim was to render the dock incapable of use by the Tirpitz. She weighed in at 1260 tons and was packed with 4500Kg of depth charges. Based on an individual weapon's weight I think she wins, but what is a "weapon" and how should we consider it in this case? Weapon: Noun Any instrument or instrumentality used in fighting or hunting. Based on the definition, maybe I'm wrong, seems like a warship is actually a weapon. Dale seems to find it funny so maybe we should be looking for something out of the ordinary. Largest may not mean weight, could be volume, anybody considered some of the airships post WW1? Can we consider the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth from WW2 did they make it to naval status? Cheers Darren
