I purchased this game last night. I have purchased about 7 of your games previously and have never had a problem. This game however is not operating. It hangs. I have reinstalled and reinstalled (with Norton on or off it doesn't matter). But the game starts with music then just freezes. I have a brand new dual core processor. Is it possible that I can have a refund?

I installed this game had the same problem.  I'm not running on a dual core but an older P4 3ghz.  I've had the game since March of 2004 and played it on Windows XP without any problem.  In January I installed a full version of Vista and since then installed it again.  I get the title screen and the opening music but then it hangs.  I tried the new patch in the member downloads and it didn't help.  Neither did running it in Windows XP compatibility mode.

Mark, try this. It should work.

Right click on the Campaigns in Danube Start-up icon (or Korsun Pocket).

Click Properties

Click Compatability tab

Click the box Run this program in compatability mode for Windows 98/ME

Click Apply

Click OK

There you have it. It will now run perfectly with full sound and opening options. The only problem you might experience is trying to play it while on line.

Thanks, it worked. I don't play online. I do get a series of four application errors when it starts. Closing any of them shuts down the program. I haven't seen where they affect play though I see someone else has posted about them -- "Kai" on the 3rd of Feb. Just playing around with the game today they don't seem to affect the actual play.
