It's really unexpected. With all the people who are now playing the new version of the game, why are there no more AAR's (either in this section or in the AAR section)? Lots of people talk about what has been happening in the games they are playing, but no one is posting anything. It wouldn't have to be a whole campaign, even a turn-by-turn recounting of a detailed battle would be fun and instructive for those of us who are trying to get the hang of the game. What do you think, Hard Sarge?[:D][:D]

It's on another site, but I did just stumble across a very nice AAR by a first-timer over here: http://www.octopusoverlords.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=48195&highlight=forge+freedom

He's using the patch and is playing the July scenario as the U.S.

Nice find, Gil - good to see he's having fun.

I am having fun - the patch has been nice.

Ack! You caught me spying on you...

Glad to know you're enjoying it.

Agree....its been a hoot to play since the beta patch; and based on the feedback in the beta forum its only gonna get better

(Bump)

The AAR is continuing very nicely. It's tempting for me to step in and give advice, but I'll hold off. (I'll make one AAR-related suggestion, though: CSL, you might want to go to the Preferences screen and get to the list of starting game options that you chose, so that people can see which they were.)

Any chance you'll be trying detailed battles at some point?

By the way, I sure hope for your sake that your amphibious invasion of Georgia includes engineers and/or siege artillery...
