32shaw -> PBEM without advanced supply (3/31/2007 11:55:44 PM)

Hi. I've played vs the AI quite a bit and would like to try playing human opponents. As I've never used the advanced supply rule, I'm wondering if anyone would like to play me without using that rule. I'd be interested in playing either the Total War scenerio or the East vs West scenerio and I could commit myself to pretty much a move (season) per day. If no one is interested in playing without the advanced supply rule, I guess I'll play a game with that rule against the AI and then try PBEM. 32shaw

I haven't played any humans either yet and I wouldn't mind playing a game without advanced supply. I would prefer being Allies in the Total War scenario or Axis in the 1943 scenario. However, I'd like to wait for the new patch to come out before starting the game.

One possible house rule that might be worth considering: any units that are not able to trace a valid supply path may not move until a path is reestablished. This would make encirclements more desirable with advanced supply turned off. I'll leave it up to you if you'd like to play with such a rule or not.

If there's someone who would be interested in teaming up with me so that the game would be a 1x2 game I would consider that too.
