Here's there write-up from the game: "Within three weeks of leaving Michigan, the 17th Michigan Volunteer Infantry Regiment engaged in fierce fighting at South Mountain and then Antietam in September, 1862. At their first battle, they earned the nickname of “Stonewall Regiment” from their successful uphill advance against Confederates positioned behind a stone wall. Attached to Gen. Ambrose Burnside’s corps, they later fought at Fredericksburg, Vicksburg, the Wilderness, Cold Harbor, and Petersburg, among other major engagements."
