hack153 -> next release effects (4/1/2007 8:39:09 PM)

with the new release how will DL/RB, etc. that are already on teams be divided up? i understand they are going to be DE, DT, RB, FB, etc, but how will that affect current players?

will plays be affected at all?

just want to know if i should keep working on my league or wait for the next release.\

thanks.

Hack, good question!  I am hoping that the DE are a little lighter and better Speed and Acceleration, with a little more Agility to get to the QB and run down the HBs on the off-tackle and end-arounds, and the DTs are a little beefier, but a little less Speed, and maybe a little better Hands to bat down passes and stop the gut plays.  The HBs should be lighter, with better Accleration, Speed and Agility, with the FBs heavier, less Speed, Agility, and Accleration, but better Hands for holding on to the Ball.  The OL should also have similiar differentiation for Speed, Agility, Accleration, and probably Hands for the Center.  For the DBs, better Speed and Agility for the CBs, and better Accleration and Hands for the Safties.  My 2-cents [;)]

To expand upon that question, what about already made plays?  Will we have to start from scratch, or will there be some kind of assignment system?

As I mentioned in another thread. The next release will not have any changes to the player positions. The next release is vista compatiblity and some bug fixes only. It has no new features.

Release 1.35 will have some changes to the player positions, but that is not going to be available until later in the year.
