CSL -> Demoted Generals Always Resign? (4/3/2007 6:21:26 AM) I've only demoted generals on two occasions and both resigned in protest. The first, Buell, was three starts. The second, McDowell, was four stars and both had been at that level since their start dates. Are their factors that will increase whether or not generals will resign? Additionally can one only demote generals to 1-star? McDowell had only that option.
