The Ground Zero Group is currently designing a computer game of global conflict in the nuclear era. In order to do that we may need a part time member of our team who is relatively familiar with modern weapons from subs to carriers to tactical fighters to bombers to ICBMs to ABMs and even the advantages and disadvantages of different types of radar.

Of course, you don't have to be a General from NORAD itself. But a fascination with the Cold War, its history, equipment, AND POLITICAL aspects would be appreciated. I could see a college level history major specializing in 20th century American history being useful in this role.

Take a look at the following ad for the project:

Then, if you're interested in joining the team as our "Cold War" consultant, or anything else, drop me a line.

Chris

You might check the Harpoon 3 crowd.  There has always been a lot of Cold War tech people playing and modding it for years.

Ask around the Harpoon 3 forums here if you haven't already.[;)]

..sounds fun, if you can accept an "it was all just an American hallucination" proponent..

..something that appears to be born out by recent Russian document releases..

..7 days to the Channel ports..hah, ahha, ahaaaaa..[:D]

"recent document releases" from Ivan are things like the Zinoviev letters, and the Protocols of Elders of Zion from the days of yore thanks.

You mean like Kulikovs 1983 principle sketch?

Well, those plans rather heavily relied on heavy Pact first use of tactical nuclear weapons. Oh, and no US strategic counterstroke...[8|]

I'm guessing not even the Harpoon crowd wanted to tackle this?   Surprising, because they usually don't shaddap about it.
