chicago227 -> AI Question (4/12/2007 4:54:39 PM)

Has anyone been beat by the AI? And how long did it take iof they did?

And which mod is better/harder to play as Jap? CHS?

patrickl -> RE: AI Question (4/12/2007 5:39:10 PM)

1st question - none. The AI is not capable of winning either as Japanese or Allied even if the human play a below average game.

Each mod has its virtues - try them all.[:D]

It might depend on what your definition of "win" is... if someone messes up and restarts, shouldn't that one be chalked up in the AI's win column??? [:D] [:'(]

Are you kidding?  The AI never wins?

No, not kidding... if an player quits in a PBEM because say they lost the KB* on turn 2 - does that count as a loss? If they did it against the AI, they probably wouldn't count it, though... just replay the turn! [:'(]

Well that stinks....and what kind of person quits PBEM after taking a loss? It;s just history happening a little earlier than expected

Well, there are multiple instances of players "surrendering" (or just quiting) after taking losses - the AAR section has many, many examples.

WITP is hopefully fun for both players - if one player decides that the game they are playing isn't fun, and isn't GOING to be fun, should they continue playing for 4 or 5 years (assuming 1 turn/day real time)?
