Just a query, would it not seem sensible for a seige to potentially damage the production or indeed the manpower of the beseiged city?
A city which has undergone a protracted seige is hardly likely to be in a very good condition following the seige regardless of if the beseiging army is attempting to pillage the province, half starved people are not very productive and the effects of bombardment by heavy artillery is quite likely to cause a little damage to the infrastructure as well as the people. The people of the city can also be killed in the bombardment or as a result of famine and disease which goes hand in hand with the seige.

Paper Tiger,
It's an interesting idea, but my guess is that it would not be programmable for this patch, especially since it would probably change the structure of the save files (and we're trying hard to have the gold patch compatible with the beta patch). Could you add this idea to the Wish List thread, so that we can consider it for the future?
