Tankerace -> Open Call For Carrier Force Beta Testers (4/18/2007 9:07:16 PM)

Attention - All hands on Deck.

We are now calling for Beta Testers for 2by3's new game Carrier Force. I need ten or so good, hard working, dedicated beta testers.

To apply, you must:

1. Be willing to test thoroughly
2. Carry out tester assignments quickly and efficiently
3. Provide useful and effective feedback.
4. Be active on the beta forums.
5. Dedicate at least 5 hours a week to game testing.

Privately I had contacted some people, but few are working out. If you can meet these requirements apply, but DO NOT apply if you think you cannot dedicate the time needed to effectively test the game. I need people that can test, and "occasional" testing or testing here and there will not work. If you would be interested, email me at justinp@matrixgames.com with your name, email address, and forum name, and how much time you can dedicate to the project. NOTE: sending an email does not guarantee acceptance. I will review each email and contact you personally, and the ones I feel can commit the time required for the success of this project I will accept.

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you all.

Justin Prince
Producer, Carrier Force.

I'm interested but how long will the test period be?

Terminus -> RE: Open Call For Carrier Force Beta Testers (4/19/2007 12:53:22 AM)

The short answer: "as long as it takes"...

FlipTrac_511 -> RE: Open Call For Carrier Force Beta Testers (4/19/2007 3:55:30 AM)

In hindsight it was a silly question.  I mean, not even a release date has been declared (AFAIK).

Now this would be a work of love.

Skyfire7631 -> RE: Open Call For Carrier Force Beta Testers (4/19/2007 10:35:42 AM)

I would have loved to, but unfortunately, I'm about to loose my Internet access for 10 days beginning saturday (moving to a new house) [:(] I'll check back after that if beta testers are still needed [:)]

Regards.

Reporting for duty, Sir! My attack planes are armed & ready, and waiting for clearance for take-off. GC

Count me in.  This genre of modern warfare has always interest me

Sergeant -> RE: Open Call For Carrier Force Beta Testers (4/26/2007 1:54:57 AM)

I've never really Beta Tested before but this sounds like fun.  Would I need to buy the game or is the Beta game provided?  I can provide 1 to 2 hours a day towards it Monday thru Friday.  On weekends I battle my friends head to head.  I'm retired Army and just got a new computer running Windoze Vista.  Playing games with this new system can be a challenge in itself.  How are reports handled?  Anyway... Hmmm guess I should view the info on the game... I kinda jumped without looking.  That's OK it still sounds like fun.  What else can an unemployed retired Sergeant do anyway... except go fishing which I do on occasions.  [:D]

When you sign up, they send you a Non-Disclosure Form to sign. After that, you get access to a private beta forum for the game, where you post reports and get assignments. Additionally, you'll get access to a server from which you download the game and the different builds that you'll have to test. It's quite a long process...

Tankerace -> RE: Open Call For Carrier Force Beta Testers (4/26/2007 2:50:19 AM)

Thanks to all who applied, for now the call is closed.

Please note that as I stated in the original post, I only looked at applicants who sent an email. If those who posted on the forum wish, email me and I will keep you in mind for any future beta openings.

Thank you.
