kaleidoscope -> Was this old bug fixed? (6/7/2007 6:46:41 AM)

Can anyone who has the new game tell me if this old bug was fixed? If you were playing a randomly generated campaign. You would buy a core force and the computer would generate additional non-core forces for every battle. These non-core forces would often appear with just one strength point. It seemed to be related to automatic time phased equipment upgrades. For instance an early Panzerjaeger platoon might have 3 units, three PzJgr I's each of which is 3 strength points. As the war progressed this unit type was replaced was Marder's. The Marder's would not appear at full strength though. You would still get 3 units but only one strength point each. Essentially this bug could affect any unit that automatically got equipment upgrades. Their strength points would fall down to just one strength point. One really bizarre manifestation of this bug would be you would receive a bunch of empty truck/halftrack transports as reinforcements but no passengers to be carried. Or if the passengers did in fact appear, they appeared as one-strength point units. For instance ,1 one-strength 50mm AT gun and a dozen trucks. Sometimes just the trucks/halftracks would show up and I had no idea what they were meant to be carrying as the passengers themselves never appeared. This was a bug that appeared throughout the series and was not limited to just one. Furthermore it was acknowledged on the talonsoft forums but never fixed. Is it fixed now?
