Hello,
i have the following Problem: I´m playing Japan vs the AI. I encircled Chunking and after a long Fight finally took it. The Chinese Forces surrendered. There are no enemy Troops left, i also loaded the Game as Allied Player, and no Units were there.
But i cant move out of the Hex and can attack the "Ghost Units". I tried this several turns , each turn roundabout 5-7 Chinese Units surrender. But the (Chinese) Troops there never get less but every turn they even become more.
I let that happen for some days and some of the Chinese Troops surrendered 3 or 4 times [&:].

Am i missing something? is this a known Bug?
And most of all: is there anything i can do to fix it?

It is a known bug. The ghost units are HQs and base units; they won't go away.   Their only effect I can see is that they can perturb your movement orders through or out of the Chungking hex.  They forced me to go round
the long way from Chungking to Yunan.

So, if i got that right, there is no way to get rid of them? [:(]

Right, no cure has been reported.  What I don't know is whether those units are preventing the resources in the Chungking hex from producing.

Best way to (mostly) get rid of them, is to ignore them.

Thanks for the replies. I will try that now, but it seems they block the supply movement, and, at least, limit my movement ablities out from Chunking.

I ignored them and they stopped causing me problems. LCUs and supplies are flowing to/from Chungking without problem.
